Yes, Ryan Shay was a teammate of Ryan Maxwell at
Notre Dame. He came to the race at Ryan Maxwell's invitation. Something about a good party after the race, if I remember correctly . In the old Pepper Martin tradition, he liked the race, but he LOVED the party .
