Alma,

After reading several articles about Lance Armstrong's training, I get the impression that marathon training is tougher on his body than he anticipated and that, due to his busy schedule, he is doing a lot of his training on a treadmill as well as relying on cross training. As we all know, this type of training might help you 'finish' a marathon but the only way to train for a competitive marathon time is to put in the miles. The argument that his superior cardiovascular system might help him overcome the lack of training is interesting and intriguing, and perhaps possible, but.....

I vote against him breaking 3 hours.

It will be interesting to see what the consensus is.
