I also want to congratulation Fred on his achievement. Setting a PR under those conditions was not easy, but Fred put in the work and the results prove that if you train hard, you usually do well.

As far as people running with someone's else's chip, I agree that it should not be done. If that person (wearing the chip) has a good race, how will they remember it? Certainly their finishing certificate will never bear their name. In addition, the person who gave away/sold the chip, should realize that they never did what the certificate said.

One last thing - congratulations again to Fred, you beat the Kiss Of Death.
