3 Mile Fun Run

Scott LaMorte won this weeks Fun Run in 17:43 with Mario Rica Jr. a close by second in 17:59 and Tom McDonald 3rd in 18:37. LaMorte's time was almost a minute and a half slower than previous Fun Run's but enough to win yet another race as he gears down for Marathon training. The fast improving Terry Ballou easily won the women's race in 18:49, another female Fun Run record for the year. Gail Marino was second in 21:06 and Barbara Byrne 21:39, enough for third place.

The race served as the final leg in the Steve Lauria Memorial Fun Run series. Scott LaMorte was the overall Men's winner while Terry Ballou won the Women's division.

Steve's legacy was celebrated with a breakfast on Cardiac hill after the race.
