3 Mile Fun Run

Lawrence Schau and Terry Ballou recorded victories in the weekly SIAC Run for Fun at Clove Lakes Park. The three mile cross country trail run served as the third race in the Steve Lauria Memorial Series, and was also run in memory of Tom Carroll of the Ricmond Rockets.
Schau was first in 18:20, holding off Mohammed Lahseni (18:45) and David Dorsey (18:57). Oluwaseun Ogunjemilusi (19:08) and Scott LaMorte (20:14) finished fourth and fifth.
Ballou won the women's race in 21:58 with Christine Connelly second in 23:17. Jenna Levendosky (26:45), Gail Marino (26:55) and Linda Verderosa (27:10) were third through fifth for the women.
The final Steve Lauria race will be run on August 27 at 9 a.m., with a breakfast afterward.
