3 Mile Fun Run

The SIAC weekly fun run took place on this last muggy Saturday of July. A-Born Etchison crossed the finish line with his usual quiet ease that no one was manning the clock yet, we rely on his honesty as first place finisher in a time of 19:37, followed by Billy Werner 20:18, Barbara Byrne 20:59, Chris Findley 21:02, and Gail Marino 21:06. Though the turnout was small today, the Galasso family was well represented by Gene and daughter Lisa. For the curious and the worried, Little Jerry the Rooster is still at large, though a suspicious few stray feathers were seen in the vicinity of Andy Burek's gym bag. John and Joy Wowk were also at the Park, walking three miles in search of the elusive rooster.
