Luis Oyola and Ellen Brennan Hearn were the winners at the weekly SIAC Run for Fun at Clove Lakes Park. Oyola covered the three mile course in 18:32, defeating his nearest rivals Frank Connelly (19:00) and Gene Galasso (19:06). Richard Sullivan (20:04) and Mark Vogt (20:24) were fourth and fifth respectively.

Brennan won the women's division in 22:19, with Corinne Smith second in 23:08. Donna Johnson (27:13), Kathy O'Hara (28:27) and Ruth Fairbrother (28:31) rounded out the top five women.
