Shawn Williams and Winnie Ng were easy winners at the weekly SIAC Run for Fun at Clove Lakes Park. Williams covered the three mile course in 16:48, while Scott LaMorte (18:42) and Gene Galasso (19:07) finished second and third, respectively.

Ng won the women's division in 18:48, with Danielle LaMagra second in 20:19 and Gail Marino third in 21:13.

Late summer weather greeted the runners today, as we received a break from the severe heat of earlier weeks. The outcomes were decided early, with both Shawn Williams and Winnie Ng drawing away from their competition. We continue to be locked out of the parking lot, despite written appeals to the Lake Cafe (Alma Ramos), and verbal appeals (Lisa Rigolini). The plot thickens.

No Fun Run next week due to the Celic Run at 10AM at Clove Lakes Park.
