That time , under those conditions , was excellent. More people ran this year than ever before . It was a good learning experience for alot of the runners. Almost 200 finished under 7:30 and considering how many grade school athletes were there, that's great ! OK, the top times might not be worthy of a ten page article in Runners World, but for a local race, it's OK, something to build upon. I think everyone had a
good time out there . The '70's and early '80's
were a long time ago. I just proud of what these
