After standing by for two weeks and being exposed to two of the most distasteful threads (Just a thought and Paula Radcliffe) I have ever had the displeasure of reading … I was glad to see Rich post a much needed statement. Both of these threads began with interesting posts from Lisa and Ernie and deteriorated into personal attacks with a total disregard for the original subject matter. The only three voices of reason throughout these two threads were Mike Tobin and Andy Burek in the first thread and Mary Molski in the second thread. …may I thank all three of you for interjecting with some common sense.
With that said my post is actually directed to Ernie and Glenn. I would like you both to know I spent part of my afternoon reading over past posts. Both of you have posted some interesting and inspiring things. Ernie, I must thank you… … for a person like myself who has never understood the interest in running you sparked my interest with some of your informative posts…..Thank You. I’m sorry Glenn, “Ernie wins me over in the inspiring category. “ The only problem is that both of you have been guilty of posting some seriously distasteful things. This type of behavior jeopardizes the integrity of the site and my husbands name.
Since, there will be no open debate over the rules of this forum, (which you both seem to want) I hope you both will decide to continue posting important and informative information minus the negative, personal, and disrespectful comments.
