Don't know if this is a valid concern or not, though don't think I'd like being banned from a race for just any old reason. I assume nobody was denied entry to this year's race. But I could see some situations like the ones described. I think a race committee, if it's going to not allow somebody, ought to have a really good reason.
One thing. Too few people in this thread actually spoke about that issue. Too much time was spent on whether people were entitled to post about it. And a lot of it seemed just so junior high school. I thought this was a forum about running issues, and that's what it should stick to. The other stuff just makes you look like bullies in a schoolyard.
