The Emerald Nuts Staten Island Half-Marathon course was 13.1 miles as
billed. The distance was officially certified. However, two of the mile
marks were incorrectly located. This was due to repaving of portions of
the course; our markings indicating where to place the mile marks were
lost. We apologize for this error.
The parking lot at the Richmond County Baseball Stadium was available
free of charge. However, many entrants instead parked in the ferry lot,
which was not free. Next year we will plan to have more marshals to help
with parking and ensure that all participants end up in the correct lot.
