Louis Rodriguez and Agnes Oquendo, and all the Run Across America runners and crews, will finally be returning to New York's Central Park after their 10 week journey (that's 71 days of running, folks) on SATURDAY, AUGUST 21st. According to Alan, the Race Director:
"The finish will be just inside the Columbus Circle entrance to the park. The time is more difficult to estimate I'm afraid because the runners are running 33 miles to get there. My best guess is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM."
Personally, I was hoping to attend but family obligations are precluding me. I will post any reports that Agnes sends on the homecoming, and I have asked the Race Director for pictures.
