It got very hot today, 98 degrees. When Lou started out at 8:45 a.m., it was 85 already. He put in 29.5 miles. The hills are huge here, so hill work was the deed today. We are now near the border of Pennsylvania and Maryland. The heat index makes it feel as though it is 110 degrees, and the concrete makes it feel hotter.

We are stll on Route 1, we are passing through small towns but are staying mostly on the highway, where there is a shoulder to run on. It was a little too hot for me today to run, so I sat this one out, but there is some exercise in being the support team. Give everyone our love.

Thanks, Lou and Agnes
