The weather was extremely hot today. I heard 94, but the heat factor made it feel like it was 103 or 104. We are presently 10 miles or so south of Philly. Lou put in 31 miles today. He also found all the hills in Philly. We stayed on Route 1, there are lots of side walks here (but they could use some cleaning).

A man stopped us because he saw the sign we have on the truck, "Running to Beat Breast Cancer". All the women in his family died of breast cancer, so he was touched by our runnning for the cause. He also liked Lou's tee shirt.

I didn't run much today - I put in about 5 miles. Lou says I'm not ready for this kind of heat yet.
