Who is putting up the pink streamers and bows all along routes 1, 301, 15 & 17?
Hmmm?????

Today was a hot sunny day, it hit 92 degrees. Before starting out, we met an
elderly gentleman (85 yrs old) whose first wife died of breast cancer at age 48.
He was proud of us, first because he was from the Bronx (also a New Yorker)
and second because we are doing something the old fashioned way: from the heart,
not from the pocket, and also because we care enough about people. He was refreshing
and believed in the cause.

Not much happened today, a usual Sunday. Most of our waterstops on Sundays
are at churches, where we leave info packets on breast cancer self exams.

It's my turn, guess who missed the turn? Route 17 went left and I kept driving straight.
When Lou was taking too long to catch up to me, I backtracked, then I realized that
I had missed the turn. I caught up to Lou, who was a little thirsty.

We are in Walterboro, South Carolina -- about 68 miles from Savannah.
Total miles for today: 37.3 Lou has learned a great deal this trip. He has learned
to run on grass, rocks, sand, jumping over snakes and other creatures, and how to
run on the white line while dodging pickup truck mirrors.

We'll stay on Route 17 through Georgia until we get to A1A in Jacksonville, Florida.

'Til tomorrow,
Love, Lou and Agnes
