Another long, hot day. We started out at 9:40 a.m., on Route 301 from the Exxon
station where we left off on yesterday. The man from the Exxon station was
very nice, he told us to take as much time as we needed.
What could I tell you about 301? It went from desolate areas to small towns.
There were many waves and honks from truckers. Still, very little shoulder, if
any. Lou spent a lot of time in the grass, and sometimes rocks.
Total miles for today was 30. We made it to Garysburg, North Carolina.
