The Staten Island Runner

Joseph Brancale and Christine Pagano were the winners of the inaugural Cesar Sanchez Tribute Run (A Race Against Gun Violence) held at Miller Field, New Dorp.  Brancale covered the two-mile course in 10:49, with David Michaels (11:00) and Carlos Pineiro (12:25) placing second and third overall.
 

Pagano won the women's race in 12:46, while Jennifer Mercurio (13:09) and Patricia Mulligan  (14:33) were second and third for the women.
