Burn Center Foundation Benefit
165 Miles
September 14, 15, 16, 2000
The New York City Firefighters Burn Center Foundation
does so much for all burn victims, including firefighters and their families.
This fall we will have a chance to give something back.
On September 14, 15, & 16th Mike Tobin, a firefighter in Engine 241 of Brooklyn, running in conjunction with the Staten Island Athletic Club, will attempt to run from Cape May, New Jersey to Clove Lakes Park, Staten Island, New York. Over a three day period, Michael will run a distance of approximately 165 Miles, arriving at Clove Lakes Park around 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 16th to raise money for the Burn Center Foundation and Children's Burn Camp. Last September, through generous contributions, Michael raised close to $14,000 for the Burn Center foundation when he ran from his home on Staten Island, New York to Atlantic City, New Jersey - a distance of 129 Miles in two days. If you would like to sponsor Michael on his run, and help children and burn victims, please fill out the form below and mail with check payable to The Burn Center Foundation to:
