Scott LaMorte and Mary Molski recorded victories
in the weekly SIAC Run for Fun at Clove Lakes Park. LaMorte covered
the three mile course in 18:03, narrowly defeating Mike Carullo (18:08).
Rich Orazem (18:25), Mario Ricca Jr. (18:41) and Mark Vogt (19:47) rounded
out the top five overall.
Molski won the women's race in 22:11, defeating
Barbara North (22:30) and Kerri Butler (23:19). Katherine Henri
(24:06) and Bibi Ghafari (25:19) placed fourth and fifth.
The race served as the final installment in the
Steve Lauria Memorial race series. Mike Carullo and Barbara North were
the overall winners of the series. Click
