Congratulations go out to Kari Proffitt and Scott LaMorte for winning the first and last Cargo Cafe Millennium Challenge which concluded on Jan. 1st in a warm Clove Lake Park. Both won, yet to be determined, all expense paid trips to Boston for a road race.

I would like to thank some people who helped out at the race. Rich Re who did the series scoring, Andy Burek who scored the race, John Wowk who measured the course and got the beer and food, Marty McGowan in the chute, Marc Herman(Chute), Ed Orazem(Chute), Gene Galasso at the mile mark, Joe Vaccarro who made the great mile markers, Lorraine Lettieri, registration, Colleen Stephens at babysitting, Tom Hart at finish, Pat Mangus, chute and entertainment. I know I left people out so except my apology.I also would like to thank the membership of the SIAC who bankrolled the event.
